Study Trip
Project Week in Estonia – EmpowerED through Educational Escape Games
As part of our projectEmpowerED, another exciting project week for young Europeans will take place in August 2026 in Vihi Küla and Tallinn, Estonia.
From 23 to 29 August 2026, young people from Romania, Cyprus, Estonia, Portugal and Germany will come together to develop and test their own escape games during a five-day seminar, focusing on the themes of finance, emotions and sustainability.
Working in teams, you will develop your own ideas, discuss them and, by the end, create your own escape games. In doing so, you will not only learn how this works in terms of content and technology, but also how to collaborate within a European team and develop ideas together.
How to participate
The project is for young people from the five partner countries. You’re the right fit for the project week if you:
- are a young person aged between 18 and 25
- currently live in Germany
- are interested in the topics mentioned above and are motivated to actively participate in all modules
- have a keen interest in the development of games for educational purposes and are curious to design prototypes for an escape game yourself
- are able and willing to actively participate in an English-language programme
- have the time and interest to take part in the full programme
There will be 3–4 workshops every day – so it’s going to be a packed programme where you can learn and experience a lot. Here’s a glimpse of the current schedule:

The costs of travel, accommodation and meals during the programme are fully covered by the Erasmus+ programme. You will only be responsible for the costs of any additional leisure activities.
