Train-the-Trainer Workshop: How to Manage Polarized and Polarizing Groups
In an intensive two-day workshop, we aim to equip trainers, educators, and facilitators with the right tools, strategies, and approaches to address the challenges they face in their work. This training will provide moderation techniques and practical strategies to work with polarized groups, enable productive dialogues, and promote fact-based discussions – especially in this time of increasing societal polarization and post-factual narratives.
Learning objectives of the training

- Key Skills for Trainers:
- Promote respectful, fact-based dialogue.
- Counter misinformation and debunk conspiracy theories.
- Manage challenging group dynamics effectively.

- Strengthen your moderation, training and argumentational skills.
What you need to know before registering
If you are interested in these topics and want to learn about new perspectives from abroad, you can apply using the form below. Registration is open to trainers and facilitators who are currently living in a EU member state.
Accomodation and travel costs will be covered. The workshops will be held in English.
The deadline for applying was February 6. Participants from Berlin that don’t need accomodation can apply till February 16. Please send the completed registration form to Lisa Fleischer (lf@eab-berlin.eu)
