CGYPP 2026 – Building Preparedness: A Czech-German Dialogue on European Security | Seminar in Ostrava
The Czech-German Young Professionals Program (CGYPP) brings together committed young professionals from the Czech Republic and Germany to explore current social and political challenges from a European perspective. Established in 2008, CGYPP fosters cross-border dialogue and lasting networks among future decision-makers from various sectors such as politics, business, civil society, and media.
The 2026 seminar is part of the CGYPP annual cycle and focuses on preparedness, security, and resilience in a rapidly changing European security environment. Under the title “Building Preparedness: A Czech-German Dialogue on European Security”, the seminar offers a rich and interactive program with:
- Expert-led discussions on European security, defense policy, and collective preparedness
- Workshops on societal resilience, disinformation, critical infrastructure protection, and civil-military cooperation
- Encounters with policymakers, security experts, researchers, and journalists
- Interactive formats such as peer group discussions, scenario-based exercises, and reflection sessions
