Europe on Track – How Much Europe Does the Young Generation Need?
Young people from Germany and the Czech Republic come together in Prague and Berlin, with stops in Pardubice and Potsdam, to explore how European policies are experienced at the local level and to develop creative ideas for the future of the EU. Europe on Track — an inspiring journey to discover, discuss, and actively shape Europe!
On Track for Europe
A group of 20 young people from Germany and the Czech Republic will spend four days in Prague and four days in Berlin, with excursions to Pardubice and Potsdam. The project combines exchange, experiential learning, and active engagement with European issues. The participants will meet experts working on topics such as security and digitalisation, engage with local youth initiatives and other stakeholders, and take part in interactive trainings. These experiences will provide them with different perspectives on how European policies are experienced at the local level and inspire them to develop ideas and recommendations for the future of the European Union.
As a potential concluding element of the project, the participants aim to share their ideas with representatives of European institutions in Berlin, giving their perspectives an opportunity to contribute to the wider European policy debate.
Europe on Track is more than a trip. Over eight days, participants from Germany and the Czech Republic collaborate as a bilateral team to strengthen their democratic commitment, mutual understanding, and awareness of Europe.

Why It Matters
European awareness at the core: From day one, participants explore how European policies are experienced in practice at the local level.
Hands-on fieldwork: At each stop, they engage with topics such as security, democracy, and digital challenges, combining conversations and fieldwork with interactive learning to turn their experiences into concrete ideas for Europe’s future.
From ideas to dialogue: In Berlin, participants will bring together their experiences and jointly developed recommendations, creating opportunities to share their perspectives with relevant European and political stakeholders.
Join this journey, the group gains the skills and tools needed to return to their respective hometowns as active multipliers for European values, expanding the conversation across borders.
