Sina Lebert has been working as a project manager at the European Academy Berlin since August 2013, organising seminars and conferences, in particular as part of the ‘Baladiya – new paths in urban development’ project, and in a project entitled Europa in der Schule – Lehrerfortbildungen in NRW (Europe in schools – teacher continued education and training in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia).She studied at the universities of Bochum and Tours and obtained a B.A. degree in French, Oriental and Islamic Studies. She then received funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for a joint German-Turkish Master’s degree in European Studies at the European Viadrina University in Frankfurt/Oder and Bilgi Üniversitesi in Istanbul. Before joining the Academy, Ms. Lebert worked, amongst other positions, for the Goethe Institute in Brussels and as contract assistant to the Federal Foreign Office, organising continuous education seminars for international diplomats. She left the EAB at the end of 2017.
