Dr. Weronika Priesmeyer-Tkocz

Dr. Weronika Priesmeyer-Tkocz is a programme director in the European Academy Berlin and in this capacity she plans and carries out seminars, research work and information events. Her focus of interest lies in particular on transformation processes in Central and Eastern European countries, on the European Neighbourhood Policy as well as on German-Polish relations.

She studied International Relations at the University of Wroclaw in Poland and Political Sciences at the Free University of Berlin. She wrote her doctoral thesis on "Polen und die Europaeisierung der Ukraine" (Poland and the Europeanisation of Ukraine).

Since 2008 she has lectured at the Institute for East European Studies in the Free University of Berlin (Freie Universitaet Berlin).
